We all know the camera on the Sony Ericsson C905 is brilliant

We all know the camera on the Sony Ericsson C905 is brilliant. It’s one of the best cameras out there in the big, wide world of mobile phones. And finally, we have some definitive proof of that, in the form of a new advert for the C905 in FHM magazine, according to Gizmodo. What we have is the world’s first advert campaign that doesn’t bother with proper cameras, and is shot entirely using a Sony Ericsson C905.
Of course, as you can see, the fact it’s got a rather nice lady in her smalls in it can’t hurt.
The mobile phone’s in the middle of the picture, guys, please try and concentrate…
Sony Ericsson C905 - mobile phone ad campaign a world first
It’s testament to the sheer power of the Sony Ericsson C905 that I really couldn’t tell it wasn’t taken by a standalone camera, until the text in the advert pointed that fact out. Granted, it took me nearly a full ten minute before I even got round to noticing the text in the advert, but that’s by the by.
Well, what can I say, the Sony Ericsson C905 is just so eye-catching, it drew my eye away from everything else in the picture.
Yeah, right…
Still, it’s not often that you see an advert for mobile phones where it took me that long to actually notice there was a mobile phone in it, so in a weird way, that’s to be applauded. And it’s yet more proof that the Sony Ericsson C905 really does blur the lines between mobile phone and digital camera. Plus, it has the added advantage you can make calls on it. And do texts. And look at the internet (possibly at future Sony Ericsson adverts with scantily-clad women, who knows). The latest NikonFujiCanon MegaFinoFunkoPix might outclass the Sony Ericsson C905 on the camera output for now, but can it do all that..?
